  • I love the city of Cleveland. The people are phenomenal, just terrific. I like the state of Ohio, but I don't like the governor, John Kasich. The man - who by the way only won 1 state in 50 in the GOP primary election this year - is a sore loser and a big crybaby. He hasn't seen the inside of the Quicken Loans Arena for some time, that I can tell you. Maybe I could love the state of Ohio, but I'll need a bit more time to figure it out. I will say this - the Quicken Loans Arena is one of the great landmarks of Cleveland, and really one of the great treasures of Ohio, believe me. The ceilings are tall, and there's plenty of seating. Boy and let me tell you, seeing a big crowd assembled here is very impressive. I look around in shock each time and can only say "Wow!" The seats could be more comfortable, but you know what to expect from an arena. The food, I am told, is very good. Hot, fast, and, above all, clean. Cleanliness is very important to me; I like not to get sick. Probably there is the normal arena fare - hot dogs, popcorn, nachos. I did try a milkshake once and it was good. Not as good, I will say, as those at Yankee Stadium, which I enjoy on occasion, but good. I have had good memories here, but not everything has been rosy (which, let's be honest, is generally a good thing, if you know what I mean). My biggest complaint is with the electronics. During my most recent visit the screen on the Jumbotron went out, and we were left with secondary lighting. It is events like these that remind me that I am in a state governed by that hack John Kasich. Get these problems fixed, and I think this arena could be 5-star, truly one of the great arenas of all time.
