Yelp should begin to have a ZERO star. The customer service of this airline is utterly horrible. Their representative did not even try to help out but nasty and rude. The attitude is disgusting. Air Canada needs to have a better human resource program and customer service training. This kind of service is what people abhor especially in an airline. I am a high miler traveler and have traveled extensively and I know when a representative tries to do her best to help out even on a customers shortcoming. They should at least try especially when the customer is in need.
I got in on time of the check in cut off for baggage but the person told me the flight is closed for baggage so I either can take the flight and leave my bag or take it in the security and throw away all my liquids. What kind of suggestion and help is that?? I was told I can take the next flight which is almost 5 hours from my current flight and pay a change fee! I said I will take my flight and they can just put my bag on the next flight so I can pick it up when it arrives for me to be able to catch my appointment. "They said the passenger needs to be with the passengers luggage". What kind of BS is this in every airline!?!!! I have flown hundreds of thousands miles and the number of times the airlines left my bag esp during my international flights is horrendous so I flew many times without my luggage and they send it to another flight! I even have flown a few times where they were not able to send my luggage during my entire travel! So that statement is BS. If it's airline fault is acceptable but if it's the passengers fault is not!!? It's case to case basis and they should consider the situation. Or at least don't charge a change fee when the person can take her flight.
The worst part for me is dealing with a horrible Arline representative. It did not help my frustrations at all but rather made me disgusted on how Air Canada train their representative. Please do not place an incompetent person dealing with customers with that kind of attitude. I would never fly air canada again for this reason if they do not train their representative to have a pleasant attitude dealing with their customers.
