Having just moved to AZ from out of state where I had previously been very attached to my dentist, I was a little nervous looking for a new place to go. To put it lightly, I am very picky with my healthcare providers. Jessica was great with my cleaning on the first visit. I will admit I was very surprised to hear that I needed 3 fillings because I hadn't had a cavity in years - therefore also a bit skeptical of whether or not I really needed 3 fillings. Although I had to reschedule my filling appointment while I was about to pull in the parking lot (there was a dental emergency which is understandable - the receptionist who called me was very sweet about it) and the wait time was longer than expected for my cleaning, I was really happy with the care I received at both appointments. I couldn't remember where I needed fillings and why (couldn't find the printout they provided me following my cleaning, I also should have asked more questions at that time - my own fault!), Allie explained everything to me before I even had a chance to ask - I clearly did need the 3 fillings as advised. I also explained to her my fear of fillings as I have had a bad experience as a child a number of years ago where I wasn't all the way numbed (OUCH), she communicated this to Dr. Bailey and everything went smoothly and I didn't feel a thing. Side note - there was a dental assistant student shadowing during my filling appointment which I found really neat to listen to Allie and Dr. Bailey explain everything they were doing in my mouth so that she could learn, and I could too! Dr. Bailey is direct, efficient, polite and very clear. I could tell she was very busy the day she did my fillings but still attentive and incredibly thorough. I honestly couldn't believe how fast I was in and out! I will continue to receive dental care at Higley. My husband loves them too.
