| - I had been going here for about a year after my dentist retired. Chose them because it was close to me. First visit in, everything was good, and had my teeth cleaned. Upon my last visit, it was time for the dentist check in addition to the cleaning. This time, the dentist, different guy from my initial visit, told me I need two crowns as "preventative" measures. I found it hard to believe in 6 months that would occur, especially since I take care of my teeth and gums. While waiting for the dentist to come in, I could over hear an extremely hard sell going on in the next room. I was skepital, especially after reading yelp, and I got a second opionion and the dentist said that the teeth were sound and did not need crowns. Its a shame that many dentist have resorted to prescribing services that are not needed. I don't know why the dental insurance companies don't require more information, like the medical carriers. The only people smiling at Tatum Smiles are the partners, all the way to the bank.
