  • Many reasons why I like Vdara from being a nonsmoking hotel to no casinos. It is close to everything walking get distance to Bellagio and Aria. Room - I reserved 2 fountain view suites and requested it to be on the same floor and high floor. They were able to give me a room that is next to each other but not as high as I wanted it to be. Still pleased that they were able to accommodate my main request was for it to be on the same floor. Room was very spacious and clean. Great view of the city and the strip. It becomes better at night when it becomes more lively. My parents loved the view. They were also happy with the kitchen area. Food - Not a lot of food options from their menu but enough for us to select items that we like. I wanted to try their breakfast menu but the majority wanted to eat outside. Service - Front desk were very friendly along with the concierge. The people who delivered our food were very engaging. The only problem that I thought was an issue was when we arrived we had to check in our bags as our rooms were not ready. We went outside and handed our bags to the bell boy. And he then stated that he will take care of the bags but he will not be the one who will deliver it to our room.. he was basically trying to ask for tips which made it really uncomfortable. I'm a good tipper but asking for one and making it feel like I'm obligated to give is just not right. So when we checked out we had to check in our bags again as our flight was that evening. I saw him again, made eye contact but he asked his coworker, Josue, to like basically approach us. Lol that guy basically refused to assist us. Luckily, Josue, was very friendly and made us laugh so therefore I tipped him $10 bucks. He provided great service and did not ask for a tip. Anyways, there was another yelper that also had the same experience with the bell boy that is asking for tips. That's not good. Manager that is in charge of that department should bring that issue that they shouldn't ask for tips. Overall, I would stay at Vdara again.
