| - We have quite a few trees on our property and some of them did not look very healthy so we had a few Arborists from different companies come to take a look. Of everyone who came Cohen & Master BY FAR were the most informative, the most approachable and the most responsive.
The Arborist who came to view our property (Richard) took the time to go through each tree and break down in simple terms what he assessed and what he felt would be the best for all the trees on our property. Richard left all the details with us in a very professional company binder with a printout of all action items we discussed with prices and lots of easy to understand details for us to review.
After receiving quotations from other companies and speaking with a few other people who had trees removed we quickly realized that Cohen & Master are VERY fair in their pricing, which was such a relief.
We decided to go ahead with the work, which included several trees having to be removed, stumps grinded and several other trees having to be cleaned up and trimmed to remove deadwood.
The day of the work a very professional convoy of Cohen & Master trucks and Arborists came to our property. They were on time and made sure to introduce themselves to us and advise of their plan for the day and answer any questions we had. In just the first 5 minutes we could tell that this was a group of people who were very knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable leaving things in their hands.
I had the opportunity to watch some of the work done through the day and it was fascinating. These guys truly seem to love what they do. It was just amazing to see what goes into removing one of these big oversized old trees (removed because they were dead), the skill required to climb the tree and cut it back bit by bit while hanging there with rope and tools hanging from your waist including a chainsaw, wow ! I gained such respect for the world of an Arborist on that day.
Overall an unbelievable experience, everyone I have come into contact with from Cohen & Master has been amazing, from Richard our original Arborist who did the assessment, to Sue in the office to the awesome Arborists who worked on our property, Nick, Justin, Paul and Shawn then Robert, Anders and Tait who came later to lend a hand. Everyone has shown outstanding customer service, followed through on all commitments and went above and beyond to make this a positive experience. There were no surprises, no mess left behind and no issues at all.
