  • An awesome ahem... old fashioned... bar overlooking the state capital. A Wisconsin student told me this is THE place to go if you're in town for a day, so go I went! Any place that offers snack beef jerky at the bar for $1.50 is awesome in my books. The huge tap beer selection, incredible cheese curds, and top notch walleye sandwich didn't hurt either. I enjoyed my visit so much that I brought back a group of 8 people a couple days later. Everyone had great comments about their meal, and those who ordered mac and cheese seemed especially impressed. It was packed on a Thursday night, which just goes to show I'm not the only person person who thinks this may be the coolest place ever.
