  • My daughter was taken to Joel Hayden in June for burns on her hands. It was late in the afternoon, and I don't feel Joel Hayden gave her proper attention, or cared about his need to do the job correctly more than his ability to leave by 5pm. I base this on the fact he gave my wife gauze and sent her home to treat my daughter herself, and contact the AZ burn center in a day or two. I immediately took my daughter to the burn center, who informed me that had I followed his instructions, two of my daughters fingers would have had to be amputated! As it was, she was immediately admitted to the burn center there, had surgery the next day, and 2 more surgeries since, with at least one more to go. I cannot stress enough the lack of care or proper attention we received from Joel Hayden. Dr Amin is AWESOME, however I could NEVER recommend Joel Hayden, as his "professional opinion" almost costs my 10 year old daughter two of her fingers. Totally unprofessional, and has no business being a doctor in my opinion. I have filed a complaint with the AZ med board as well.
