Food-4 stars, everything else-1 star.
Drove 300 miles to Phoenix, and another 40 minutes from Scottsdale, just to make sure we could hit Honey Bears. Ribs, pulled pork sandwich, Cole slaw, and fries were great. That was the good part.
The bad: employees did not want to be there and it was reflected in their customer service. This place is living off its past. No toilet paper in the restroom, watered way down iced tea, soda machine with 4 choices with at least 2 of them not adjusted properly. They forgot my Mac and Cheese that I ordered and paid for. Had to remind them after we got the food.
Told the counter person that a car in the parking lot had its trunk open, counter person could care less. Only 2 tables of people in the place to ask about trunk, but he didn't bother.
Will never go to this location again. Will try the Van Buren location next time in town and that will determine if I wipe Honey Bears off my must eat locations when visiting Phoenix.
