  • The Hop Shop is a hidden gem, and more people need to check this place out! It's kind of tucked away on Central next to FuManChu Cupcakes. I went to FuManChu on Sunday and then walked to Hop Shop to have a beer and enjoy my cupcakes. At Hop Shop, you can purchase beer and wine individually from the coolers or you can get something on draft. I tried the Goose Creek IPL, and the bartender even let me get a half pour because I just really didn't want a full pint. The place is pretty open with comfy seating and fun swings suspended from the ceiling. I love the "Don't swing like a dick" sign. I look forward to going back to hang out with friends, read a book, and enjoy craft beer.
