This was my first trip to Cafe Rio. It was lunch time and the place was very busy. The servers on the cafeteria like line were helpful and answered all my questions. You could tell they were stressed by the big crowd. Normally, a large crowd is a good sign. Sadly, this was not the case. I ordered the chicken tacos. The chicken was so salty it was barely eatable. The tacos came with fresh tortillas, but they were too greasy to eat. The pico de gallo could have saved the day, but it was bland and lacked the necessary acid. The rice and black beans had no flavor. I'm very disappointed in Cafe Rio. I don't know if I will give this place another chance. The 2 stars are for the helpful staff.
