My wife was in a minor fender bender, so she called Dr. Dayton's office because she was having some neck pain. The receptionist refused to schedule an appointment to see the doctor (apparently Dr. Dayton doesn't treat car accident victims - it's part of the paperwork that you sign when you first see the doctor).
Unfortunately, we have an HMO, so we either have to see our primary care physician or get a referral from him. Well, the receptionist also said that was not possible.
So, my wife called our insurance and they couldn't believe that he has such a policy. They recommended that we change doctors while they investigate.
