The ambience of T Cook's really couldn't be any better. I just visited for breakfast. The service is both friendly and efficient and it's a great setting to have a business or personal discussion (in other words, not too loud). I've ordered a few things from their breakfast menu and have always been pleased. The portions are generous and the ingredients seem fresh. Most recently, I ordered the egg-white dish with spinach and feta. It was a bit heavy on the feta but to each his own, I didn't have to eat what I didn't want. They also put some complimentary muffins on the table which is a nice touch.
The reason that I give four stars is because it is just too expensive. I get that it's resort season in Phoenix and if it was my restaurant, I might be charging the same. $5 for a cup of drip coffee is ridiculous. My colleague and I had two cups of coffee, an egg white frittata, and plain yogurt with berries - $45. Really?
