Had the pleasure of dining at il Bosco last night for my birthday and just wanted to share how great of an experience it was. The restaurant is small and does not seat many people so we were sure to make a reservation (they only offer 2 slots each night). At the last minute, we had to add 2 more to our party which they took on with no issue at all and were able to accommodate all of us. The food is awesome, the ambiance is great, quick and friendly service. All around, this was a very authentic Italian experience at what I consider to be a fair price point. The pizzas are intended to be personal size but if you're not starving, they could definitely be shared. For dessert we tried to vanilla gelato, spumoni tortufo, and a brownie. All of them were delicious but the spumoni was definitely the winner. At the end of our meal, the owner offered us all a taste of his homemade amaretto which was fabulous. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a good, affordable, authentic Italian experience.
