  • Called around today looking for a garage to replace the front ball joint on my old '99 Tercel - I already had the part (new, in the box) and was interested in labour only. Guan's quoted me $70, which was just over half the price given by Active Green & Ross, and Lorin Fraser Service Centre, both on Gerrard (each said $125). McDermott Motors said they wouldn't install "customer sourced" parts; same with Cam's Auto Service (they quoted me two hundred something for parts and labour). Guan's was able to book me in one hour after I called, and the ball joint replacement (using the new part I supplied), in addition to a flat tire repair and install, took 90 mins and cost me $100 total. Very impressed and pleased with service, timing, and price. Highly recommend and will certainly be coming back. Thank you Guan's Auto Service!
