| - Absolutely stunning course. Enough trees that I hit one on every hole, but few enough that anyone with skills would never hit any. Per its name, there are quite a few lakes on the course. There is an 18-hole regulation course (which we played), a 9-hole par 3 course, a practice driving range, and practice chipping and putting areas. Enough flushing bathrooms that you can stop a couple times during 18 holes. It took us 5 hours to finish the course, although they state their unofficial max is 4 hours for 18 holes. People drop off like flies after the first nine, though, so play moves much faster on the back nine. The carts had pick-up and speed, but more than once we threw a rider from our mobile because the course is riddled with deep ruts and grooves. If you golf less than 4, count on being paired up. This is not a course that messes around with less than capacity. Drink cart comes around on the course every 30 minutes, the ranger is very visible, and they have an official starter on the weekends (at least). Just a classy, beautiful place. $78 for two people with a cart on 18 holes. Drinks run $1.75 per bottle (soda or water). There is a snack bar with decent hot dogs as well.
