  • Last night my fiancĂ© and I came to Brat Haus to grab a quick dinner (we were at an event at Goldwater Brewing next door, and just wanted to leave quickly for food). We've been to Brat Haus before and really liked the food, so we were excited to have that option so close. Our food was delicious - my fiancĂ© got the Bavarian Pretzel and the Grilled Chicken Wings, and I got the Haus Sausage will dill relish, and onions & peppers. I love that kind of food, and really enjoyed mine! We also had beer, and I always think that Brat Haus has a good beer menu with lots of choices. I did only give this restaurant three stars because of the service. It took a very long time to get our food (too long for the simple items we ordered), and we did see other tables who had ordered after us get their food first. I'm not sure what was going on, but it would have been nice if our waitress stopped by to let us know, or tell us that our food would be out soon, something...but she seemed to disappear at that point and stop checking in on us. We really needed water, too. Overall, I would still come back to this restaurant for the yummy food, but I would hope to get better service in the future :) they may have just been busy, but I don't think there's ever a good reason to wait so long for food.
