  • This was a very disappointing experience for my mom and me. I took her here to get a color, shampoo and flat iron, which should have been UNDER $70 as indicated on the sign behind the pay area. However, afterward we were told that flat iron was an "extra" $35... We were not told that when I initially discussed prices with the stylist. The total was $97 for my mom to get color and wash (no cut), who has short and thin hair. When I asked for an explanation, she told me that the prices went up within the last year due to the minimum wage increase. The prices posted did NOT reflect the price given. As a result, we will NEVER return to the hair salon at Walmart-- unprofessional and not straightforward about pricing.
