| - I have a certain expectation from bars in Vegas, especially at someplace like the Paris. The expectation is: correct menu, prompt service, good drinks. Those seem like pretty easy marks to hit, considering your whole business model is tourism and spending.
Unfortunately, for 3 nights at Le Central, all of those marks fell flat.
First - the menu given to us was entirely incorrect. We weren't told this beforehand, only after we tried to order their pitchers (which they no longer have, and apparently haven't for a while, even though an entire page is dedicated to them). People from my group continued to try to order beverages all weekend that they just didn't have.
Second - while the service was all perfectly friendly, is was always terribly slow. I would love to give you money, but 30 minutes for a rum & coke is too many minutes. I could have gone to the bar myself for that. Or gone to a slot machine and had someone bring me something.
Third - it was very hit and miss for drinks. Super inconsistent, any time of day or night, any type of mixed drink.
Bonus bad mark - on a Wednesday night, there was a drunk man sleeping on one of the couches for over an HOUR while my party was there. Shouldn't someone like that be removed within 10 minutes? Super unprofessional to leave him there, making other people very uncomfortable.
For good marks, the location of the bar to the elevators is great. Super easy to crawl back to your hotel room. Again, the service is super friendly, and it's not their fault that the bar was out of stuff. And the decor just feels really great. It is a calm place to relax and hang out.
