Call me a sucker for wanting to visit M Resort after watching an entire season of Top Chef. It was $60 for cab fare (1 way) and what to do now? Why not spend a few hours in the spa until the restaurants open up for dinner. We were told we couldn't "see" the spa because it would disrupt the patrons inside. Whatever....we paid a hefty fee and went in.
It was SMALL and guess what...NO ONE was inside.
The TV lounge was tiny which lead to the wet area. 2 large jacuzzi lit by skylight so it was extremely bright and very very humid. There were 2 lounge recliners and a small suana/ steam room. The coolest thing was a cold overhead shower that was like walking under a waterfall.
We didn't stay long and I almost told the receptionist that she mislead us. Why wouldn't you allow potential clients to view what they were paying for.
