  • One of the best meals ever! My fiance and I ate at the Monterey Bay Fish Grotto for a late Valentine's Day dinner tonight. We had a reservation and wereseated promptly. Our server, Holly, was pleasant as can be and very efficient. I ordered the swordfish with cajun seasoning and orange marmalade sauce and my fiance had caribbean halibut. We both agreed that while both were delicious the swordfish was the better meal. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. We shared a side of lobster mac and cheese. It was good, probably could have cut back on the cheese a tiny bit as it was super rich. Now, we opted against dessert because I was pretty full, but when she brought us our check, Holly also brought a piece of the angel food grilled cheese to go because we were celebrating. Very sweet gesture and we tore into it as soon as we got home! Such an innovative and delicious dessert!
