My mom bought a Dell laptop for my son back in Tampa on November 17th. She brought it as a Christmas gift and the box was opened on Christmas morning more than 30 days after. I personally turned it on and set it up but I noticed something strange about it. I noticed the screen flickered and it took a long time to startup. (This was an almost $1,000 computer). Once I got in I got a pop up screen stating the computer needed a Dell update, it also stated it was recommended. Once I agreed to the updates the system stated it would need to restart and so it restarted. All of a sudden.... I got a screen stating the system had incorrectly shut down and was corrupted-_- ..What the? I tried several options but continued to get the screen. So we went back to Best Buy but here in Las Vegas and I was nervous Because it had been more than 30days. I believe Donovan helped us and he troubleshooted the computer. He also encountered what we saw at home. Since my mother financed through Best Buy and he saw something was definitely wrong with this POS Dell, he agreed to an exchange. No questions asked, no hassles, no dirty looks...Yay! He was very helpful and we chose to go with an HP with the same price. We walked around the store and were approached by several associates wanting to help us with everything we needed. I was impressed:) I will be going back...
