Just had the worst mani-pedi of my life! I was greeted by the manager Betty and she asked me to pay up front as she was closing the till. This should've been my 1st red flag. In addition to this, they only accepted cash, 2nd red flag. However, I proceeded to have the service which I had to pay for before actually having it done.
I paid $55 for a pedi-mani with shellac. The technician did a shoddy job! While she was cutting my cuticle, she nipped my skin. It appeared that she didn't speak much English. She didn't even apologize not sure if this was due to a language barrier or not. Hopefully, I don't get an infection from this. She rushed the work, the polish application was amateurish and the it didn't even look like shellac. After I addressed my concerns to the manager Betty, she agreed it was bad and said she couldn't refund me or at least discount me. She said that everyone was busy and offered for the same lady to do it over! I said how can I be confident in her when she just did a lousy job. She didn't seem to care. So my money and time wasted. Save your time and money and do not go to this place for any service! Personally, I think the nail salons need to be regulated.
