  • Ever since Librairie Champlain closed, this has been the place to go for French Books. I'm a fan mainly because of their friendly service. Oh and might I add I VERY much appreciate the fact that the staff upstairs (French Section) actually speaks proper French and will gladly provide service in both official Canadian languages. Also, if you can't find the book you're looking for on the shelves, don't be afraid to ask for help, or even ask if they can order them for you. I've ordered close to a hundred dollars worth of books once and I received all of them within 3 weeks. I also love all the newspapers and magazine they carry and the European sweets you can pick up! Those gummy bears in the Gold packages are bomb!! Soo yummy~ .Plus they have a nice cushiony bench you can sit on upstairs.
