  • Unfortunately for Sams, I discovered Costco and have found it to be the superior warehouse club by far. I have found service at Sam's in particular to be lacking. As an example, I wanted to purchase a mattress, and simply asked a young male employee to help me as he was right in front of mattresses speaking with a female employee. Instead of doing so enthusiastically as a Costco employee would do, he looked at in the girl, they rolled their eyes and he did so reluctantly. The cashiers themselves were no friendlier.
