  • Will someone please transport this place to Denver for me? Running some errands with the BF one morning and had to pick up some bread. Breadsmith is the only option worth having in Lakewood and I'm happy it is. I'm convinced that carbs = happiness. Fresh baked bread, muffins, and scones smell of sweet dough. You walk in the front door and are immediately greeted by friendly smiles from the women behind the counter. I was hit with the aroma of fresh baked goods and I was entranced by the walls stacked high with a collection of loaves of bread. The choices were endless: Rustic Italian French Baguette Sourdough Rye Honey Wheat The Rustic Italian has a soft interior with a crispy outer crust, it's perfect for sandwiches or dipping in a savory olive oil. They offer so much more as far as variety and can also slice to order if needed. In addition to their breads they also offer morning breakfast items including muffins, scones, and dessert breads. They offer a bread of the day or a special of the day if you like. Check their website for details. You will not find better baker goods anywhere in the area, this should be your destination no questions asked. You'll be amazed with the quality and quantity you receive for the price.
