I came here on Monday as I was having an asthma attack and my inhaler wasn't doing the trick as it was expired. I was taken back immediately which was perfect as I was having trouble breathing and was taken into a room where they hooked up the monitor to my finger to see my oxygen levels. While it was only 89% which was extremely alarming to me the Physician Assistant Xiao went on to listen to my lungs and said "your lungs sound clear". To put it nicely, this man has zero bed side manners. The assistant who was helping was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I forget her name but she was bi-racial and just a complete asset to this place. She said she has asthma too and sympathized what I was going through.
I was hooked up to an oxygen tank after doing a breathing treatment and the "doctor" came in and asked if I had asthma. HELLO, I am having an asthma attack as you know, of course I have asthma. It was very hard for me to tolerate this. I became more and more irritated with this "doctor" and his lack of knowledge and arrogance that they got another doctor who seemed to really know his stuff which I appreciated. When I can't breathe to begin with I would prefer someone who knows what they are talking about.
This Urgent Care is conveniently located by the strip and is 24 hours so I would definitely be back if need be but absolutely would never be seen by the Physicians Assistant Xiao, EVER. AGAIN.
