Turkey dinner fiasco led me to cruise downtown Tempe at 8pm looking for food. Most of Mill was closed, so down University I went and found two places open next to eachother. One was Mediterrean, but after I ordered, I saw Gus in the back, kind of hidden away. I went with a simple order of garlic Cheese Bread and it was freakin huge and came with marinara and garlic sauce all for 5 bucks. This is one of the better appetizer bread deals around (see pic) and is great for sharing or in my case not sharing and having massive leftovers. Place was fairly busy on Thanksgiving night, but the bread was ready in 15 minutes as they said and although it wasn't turkey, it still will hit the spot on any day.
