| - I had never been to a Menchies before and I can now say I'm not a fan. I mean, I'll probably never return to THIS Menchies. I'm totally willing to give another location a chance, but this place is a nightmare. As soon as I walked, TOWARD the place, I knew it was going to be bad. There was a man standing in the doorway and some children on the other side. He was being a little creepy and I think the kids were a little creeped out too...who knows where their parents were. Anyways, I couldn't get around them and when I finally did, I was met with the strong smell of marijuana, which actually isn't too unpleasant. The problem was that I couldn't figure out who it was--everyone was moving at a confused snails' pace here. Then, there was no plain frozen yogurt, which is my go-to. Plain with a ton of fruit and cheesecake bites. That wasn't about to happen, so I got pineapple and some fruit--OK, but not what I wanted. And after that struggle, to not get what I was thinking about and craving for days was really disappointing.
Then comes the customer service. The girl at the counter never asked me a question, she actually just snapped statements at me. "You want this to-go." "You don't want the receipt." Nope, no question marks on those--the decisions were already made for me. I mean, she was correct, but it was really off-putting. I can see how that job isn't the most fun, especially at this location, but sheesh, get a grip on your attitude.
Anyways, I like frozen yogurt. I like Piccadilly. I live closer to that establishment and see no reason I should ever fight the Cedar traffic and the chaos of this little shopping center for such a bad experience again.
