| - Let me preface this review by saying that I'm not a big fan of Boston Store to begin with, and tonight's visit just reaffirm that believe.
Usually, if and when I shop at this store, there has to be a decent sale.
Walking in, I was greeted by an empty table with wadded up plastic bags.
I went to the Home department looking for the towels - there is a reason these were the advertised sale brands. They were sad, flimsy little things.
I found some towels I liked on an aisle display (not the sale, just regular price.) Right color, texture and thickness. Bath towel, hand towel, facial ..... wait a minute? Nothing. I looked high and low, nope.
I went to the check out counter, one staff member was helping a return and the other was off in her own little world. Finally, I flagged down the staff member, explained my problem to which I was given a less than helpful response of "that happens."
I found what I thought was a manager. She was less helpful. No offers to look in the back, look on the computer, call another store, anything. In frustration, I put the towels back on their pile and went to leave the store shaking my head.
Guess what! The escalator doesn't work. The only way to get away from the 2nd floor is to search for the freight elevator.
This store really needs a serious overhaul.
