rev:text	I have been practicing yoga for almost 12 years (certified and concentrating in ashtanga for four) and had spent time in Mysore, Pune and Thailand with some very excellent and giving teachers. Since moving to AZ I have been researching studios, calling, attending and conversing with different practitioners. I never disclose my previous experience, instead presenting a guiless attitude. I had an unfortunate phone conversation with a woman who said she was Mishell, the owner of Eightlim yoga. In this conversation I asked about her schedule, style and fees (not mentioning I had already reviewed her website). In this conversation she misrepresented her studio's offerings: 1) That she offered many classes convenient to my schedule (at the time of this review most of EIghtlim's classes are scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM). 2) She was unable to define her own cerifications or lineage of teaching, referring to Eric Faquir (a Google Search brings up a website from 2005 where his most recent cert is as a Hypnotist) 3) She quoted a monthly fee of $130, and when I mentioned I heard of an introductory offer of $45, she backpedalled and said, "Oh yes, I forgot about that one..."?!? When I asked where her "Intermediate" offerings (as described on her website) fit in relation to Jois' Secondary series or Classical Ashtanga she became short and in an irate tone said, "I'm not going to go through all of this over the phone." Perhaps she was having a bad day, but not very Shanti. I don't think I'll be dropping in to Eightlim anytime soon.
