I originally wrote a pretty strongly worded, negative review of this salon. I'm replacing it because it was about one stylist who is no longer employed there. (I was assured he wasn't let go because of me. I certainly hope I didn't get someone fired).
What's more, the owner of the salon called me to apologize and offered me a free haircut with someone I'd had a good experience with before. That really made an impression on me. I was surprised by the bad experience I had considering all the positive reviews this place has. I think this is a good salon that had a couple bad apples. I'm definitely willing to give it another chance, and I'm sincerely impressed that the owner took the time to call me, a person who, by my review, sounding like a crazy, angry you-know-what, and personally apologize and make things right. She sounded sincere and completely understanding.
I haven't gone in for my free cut yet, so I can't say 5 stars right now. But even so, I can say that the owner of this salon cares about the customers and the salon's reputation. That's enough for me to amend my review.
