We came here for our Anniversary and was really looking forward to what looked like an amazing dinner. The best part about our experience was the bread basket and dessert. Everything inbetween was a disappointment unfortunately.
*The bread basket was amazing
*The tuna and avocado appetizer was so bland. The waiter told us guests had complained of too much citrus added to the dish so they took it away. WTF
So now Im paying almost $20 for a piece of tuna with sinew running through all of our pieces and plain avocado. It was a slight joke. Im sure it was better with the citrus dressing they got rid of.
*The spaghetti was good I ate all of it but I added the meatballs which were also a joke. They were so tiny and tasted like baby food.
*The short Rib ravioli dish was good
*The mascarpone cheesecake was heaven.
*The service was great, almost a little too attentive like they were trying to rush us through the meal for table turn over.
*All in all it was ok. The view of the Bellagio fountains was a bonus. I felt like I was paying more for the view than the food. I love Scott Conant, I love Chopped, there are so many restaurants to choose from in Vegas and I was reaaally looking forward to going there but I was a bit let down. If we were to return to Scarpetta it would be for a cocktail and dessert.
