| - This place is yum! The location is kind of hard to get to right now, with all the construction, but it's worth the effort! The ambience is casual, with lots of windows so it's nice and bright. You get a complimentary shot of the shrimp consomme with lime! The place is called El Fish Taco, and appropriately they've got a ton of seafood options, but if you're not in the mood, they have steak options too. I love how there are so many other variations on the seafood taco than just fried fish filet and shrimp.
I had the al pastor fish taco, shrimp taco, and poblano fish taco my first visit, and the steak costra the second time. Everything came out quickly and was delicious! In terms of dessert, there's not much in the way of traditional Mexican dishes, but they have crepes and panna cotta. I love cajeta, so the dulce de leche crepe was right up my alley. Coming back for sure.
