  • Had a similar kind of church in Illinois where I use to live. It seemed strange to me at first because it's not a particular type of faith but a solid Christian Bible based church. After several visits it clicked with me. I loved it & miss it. That's when I found CCV - it's very close in it's teaching to my former church. I had to laugh at the poor people who posted a soft review - they didn't get it. They seemed to want the old traditional Catholic Church not CCV's approach to God. I wanted a fresh approach to God because I was smothering from the traditional way. Christ when he was here didn't burn incense, ring bells, sprinkle water, etc. He taught whenever & wherever no matter what his followers were wearing. His teachings were the center of concentration & that's exactly what CCV does. I love this church!
