  • This is nice hole in the wall with a lunch counter place. The menu is solid soul food. The mixed greens and sweet potatoes were ok but that cornbread was great!! I wanted the cabbage but it wasn't ready when I ordered :(. The fish that I tasted on my friend's plate could have used more seasoning. Rice and gravy needed more seasoning too. If I ever come back to Phoenix, which I probably won't I would try a different restaurant. But if you are close to airport and want some soul food this a place to try out.
