| - I always utilize Yelp reviews in whatever I'm looking for, and having just moved to PHX, did so again to find a good nail salon. I've never written a bad review, but I'm so irritated every single time I look at my hands, that unfortunately, I cannot get over how horrific my experience was at Ken's Nails and Spa.
After telling the nail tech how I like my nails done, (you know, how they were, but filled and shorter), had the worst nail job I've had in years. YEARS.
I should've taken closer notice when her coworkers began razzing her for how long it was taking her to do an acrylic fill--only ONE hand barely done at the one hour mark. I had finally had enough and asked if someone could at least finish and do the other hand. The other lady stepped in, and kept telling me that "yes she knew that I wanted them done my way, and yet she did them this way..." Yeah-got that part, but thanks for sharing the clarification.
While my nails still suck, I am more disappointed in the attitude of inconvenience of the last lady, who lamely and reluctantly took to "fixing" the other's disaster (which then put me over the 2.5 hour mark!) with no apology, no 'come back and we'll do better' --- absolutely nothing.
That being said, I can only recommend that if you want a shoddy attempt at getting your nails done, along with horrible customer service-go to Ken's Nails and Spa.
