I went in to Pure Nutrition and ordered two açaí bowls, one without almonds, as my husband is allergic. The clerk even reiterated my order back to me. The guy makes both bowls with almonds. So I told him my husband is allergic and I would need that bowl re-made without almonds. He then tells me the granola has almonds in it. I said, "Ok well why didn't you tell me that when I placed my order and said no almonds?" He claimed not to have heard me say "no almonds." I said, "Dude, you reiterated it back to me." He then asked me what I'd like them to do. I said, "you can refund me for one bowl since my husband cannot eat it." He said he was not allowed to give refunds. I explained that almonds are a very common allergen and you can't just surprise people with them. We went back and forth for a few minutes and then he said he'd have the manager call me. The manager never called me. I'm done with this place and it's horrible and careless customer service.
