| - I got my Chinese Qi Pao and an evening dress for my wedding here. I came 2 months before my wedding (talk about being in a rush!) and was pretty desperate to get things done.
Chinese dresses: Decent collection and reasonably priced. Compared to other places, the prices they quote me were the prices I got after bargaining at Pacific Mall, so it's nice to know there isn't a mark up. Unfortunately my mom and I had no luck bargaining here. When ordering with Joanna, she measured me and ordered me a medium. Since I know my measurements, I insisted she order a large since that's the size I tried on at most Chinese place and they literally match the charts. But nope, it was all planned out because when it came time for my dress fitting, I of course needed alterations which I needed to pay for.
Evening dresses: They have a good selection of evening dresses for all ages (prom/moms), they have 3 huge catalogues you can order from. I was glad to hear that there was no such as thing a rush order.
The dresses came in 1 month post and during my first fitting Joanna asked if I gained weight and laughed. 0 stars for service. I had to come for a 2nd dress fitting because they didn't get it right the first time. Alterations appear to be done in the back by Joanna and company. They are not professionally done here, so don't bring in any expensive dresses despite the attractive price (ie. wedding dress). For hemming, she took a pair of scissors and cut as I twirled slowly, then closed the seams afterwards. I didn't mind for either of the dresses I bought from here, but please don't let them touch your wedding dress!
Pros: Come here for the Chinese Qi Pao and quick turn around for dresses.
Cons: Pushy, bad service.
