| - Do you live on the West Side and always have a hankering for Boba? Do you dread the drive, the poor parking situation, and the huge line when you head to Chinatown for Kungfu Tea? Do you like cats? ... If you answered yes to any of these questions, Taste Tea is the place for you!
This is a small, new, boba shop located next to an Albertson's grocery store near 215 & Flamingo. Definitely closer to my place than KungFu tea, and has many of the same options (including less/more sweetness, Okinawa brown sugar milk tea, and multiple toppings!). If you take away the Kung-Fu theme, it's basically KungFu tea but Japanese-cat-themed. I had the Okinawa milk tea, less sweet, which had an overall good flavor. The boba here is small and good consistency, and they make a new batch every 3 hours.
Only complaint is that there is really minimal seating. I mean, they definitely have more space than they are using..... Service is super friendly and when I didn't find a seat, someone brought out extra chairs for me, which was really great. Overall, this is a 3.5 star boba joint, but bumping up for the friendly service :)
