I had been here once as a non-Yelper and I really liked it. This time I went in with high expectations and was disappointed by the customer service and the "food display". However, I love Mongolian BBQ and really enjoyed the food I got here.
Customer Service: We were told once we sat down that they were not serving menu items that night with no explanation of what that meant. We were then asked if we wanted anything to drink without a drink menu or being told what was available. The server seemed to be in a hurry, so my wife and I both went with water. We got a very short and confusing description of how to build our bowls, again she seemed to be in a hurry. We realized once we got up that she wanted to get back to her friends a few tables down so she could sit and talk with them. I hope we didn't interrupt her conversation by wanting to have a pleasant dinner experience at her establishment.
On our way to the "food display" I noticed the bartender was scrubbing the bar floor. The middle of dinner time didn't seem like the most opportune time to clean the floors. I was glad I didn't order a drink.
The "food display" was a mess and very unappetizing. Once I saw the meats I considered asking my wife if she wanted to leave. Some meats were mislabeled or not labeled at all and some were mixed in with others. The biggest thing was the gross way they were displayed. They need to find a better way to display them. Lots of bowls of raw meat isn't very appetizing. The spices were a bit confusing. The vegetables were poorly cut and disheveled. The girl behind the counter wasn't much help either. I thought they had recipes on the wall that you could follow, if they didn't they need them. If they did, they need to bring them back.
Overall, I liked the food, but I had some issues with the way the establishment was organized and run. It seemed a bit pricey for what we got.
