| - Where to start with Kabuto Kennel? Well, my fiance and I are interested in purchasing our very own Shiba Inu and after reading some friendly reviews about Melissa and her kennel we decided to make arrangements to visit her facilities. Here's a list of what happened and why I feel Melissa M. Harper is NOT all she's hyped up to be:
1. Her application is ridiculous. Here's what it says about keeping in touch with her for YEARS after you purchase one of her puppies: "You will supply Melissa Harper with pictures of your pup once you get your pup home, and at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year and twice yearly thereafter."
2. She didn't keep either of the appointments we had booked. The first appointment was made for a Saturday and we had spoken a week before. The morning of the appointment she asked if we had arranged a specific time and I replied I didn't know we needed to. She wrote back, "We are going to have to make it next week. I apologize but I have a dog that I need to run to the vet." Okay that's understandable so for the second appointment we made it for 10:00 am on Friday, June 17th. Her only directions were, "I am in northeast Mesa off of the Brown exit on North 202/Red Mountain side." Well, okay that's a good start but Mesa is huge and we needed more information to actually reach her house. I figured we could just call her if we needed to. So we drive out with her vague directions and of course they only get us to an empty intersection. I call Melissa but no answer. I keep calling and her cell 480-584-8868 goes straight to voicemail. Now I'm pissed. I email her, Facebook her and keep calling for an hour and nothing. So basically my fiance and I wasted our whole Saturday morning driving 50 miles round trip for Melissa to forget/cancel again our appointment. We left with our money and decided we were done with her idiocy. Only at 12:11 did Melissa say her phone was dead and provide us with an alternate number 214-609-0902. Well our appointment was AT 10!!
Don't bother with Melissa M. Harper, she's unprofessional and rude at best.
