Our first visit to Villa la Paws for grooming went well. The groomer Michella (sp)? was very friendly, addressed all of our concerns and the dogs look great. We will definitely return for grooming. We are considering bringing our golden back for daycare and or boarding, but one thing we noticed was the entryway was kind of dusty and not real clean. When we came in just before 8am, the young lady with glasses, not sure of her name...wasn't the most friendly. Overall it's worth checking out further.
Update, we returned for a visit of the facilities and checked out the doggie daycare. The reception person was friendly and answered all questions. However the area is still very dusty and smells. All the rooms I saw had a very strong urine odor. The outdoor area is cement and or sand. We left our dog for a few hours so they could evaluate her and she could experience the daycare with the other dogs. When we picked her up she was filthy and they never removed the harness that she came with.
Additionally the webcams that are in the play areas did not work. I kept checking the different rooms and outside yards and never saw my dog, let alone any others. I was told that "unfortunately" they had combined all the big and little dogs into one area today..the area they chose had a non functional camera. I don't think we will go back. They really need to clean and deodorize this place.
