  • I was so excited to try this chicken fried steak - Not impressed at all - it was so soggy (like it had been pre-made and sitting out) it was beyond bland and I had to add so much salt/pepper to the gravy for any flavor.....I also sensed an "off flavor", kind of sweet, that didn't belong with CFS - only to get home to raging food poisoning within the hour.......Also, the catfish was also bland and flavorless. Place is so crowded, loud and a bit dingy.....Only reason it got 2 stars was because the service was nice and staff was very friendly.
