This is a brunch spot I would gladly come back to, despite the slow service, noisy patrons and carrying around a je ne sais quoi smoked meat-type of scent with me the rest of the day. Have I mentioned french toast & fois gras yet? I guess I could technically just end the review just here--but I won't.
I was bummed they had run out of the sweet scones so I got myself the side of potato rosti and the french toast as well, which was obviously a brilliant idea. The french toast & fois gras came topped with bacon, dates on a bed of decadent almond butter. The coffee refills were great. They also have an interesting selection of craft beers and ciders--why shouldn't every morning start with a ginger beer?
