| - On March 19th, we traveled to Las Vegas for the Players College Showcase and stayed at the Suncoast Hotel (not our choice, tournament rules.)
My daughter's uniform bag was taken from our room by housekeeping. No, I do not think they stole a kids soccer jersey, however, in speaking with housekeeping management, Valerie thinks there was a "mishap." The bag is large in size and was located on the bench at the foot of the bed. Valerie stated what probably happened, housekeeping pulled the bedding back, covered the bag, and then picked up the linens with the bag. Housekeeping could have moved the bag onto the floor and piled the linens on top of the bag. She said this has happened before. Valerie referred us to Corporate who referred us to Risk Management.
Sherry Lindsey in Risk Management calls us back today, 9 days after the loss, and leaves a voicemail to say, "The hotel is not responsible for items left in your hotel room."
#1 The hotel may not be responsible for what people leave, but they are responsible for what housekeeping takes! #2 So is this hotel saying, everyone must pack up their clothes and take it with them, to prevent these mishaps?
The hotel should be responsible in replacing the uniform as it was there "mishap."
