My adult daughter and I saw Copperfield's show on Aug. 19, 2017 (the 7pm show). I often found that the show was very slow to develop and often seemed tediuos and lacked engagement. The buildup of anticipation was nowhere to be found. Yes, the illusions are impressive but some took way too much time to develop. In fact part of the show could be described as corny. Copperfield relies heavily upon audience participation, and at this particular show the audience was either really, really slow or they simply froze while suddenly becoming part of the show and their awkardness in responding to his instructions totally messed up the cadence and flow of the show. Often, Copperfield seemed frustrated by his impropmto co-hosts. If you should read a bio of Copperfield he certainly seems to be very financially well off, and he appears to act as though he's simply going through the motions. He clearly doesn't need to be there...he's only doing the show in order to get out of his house. He's performed these illusions perhaps thousands of times, and his demeanor shows it. He appears bored and that he simply wanted the hour and a half show to be over. Also, the theatre where he performs in is quite small and uncomfortable to watch the show. You're practically sitting on top of each other. With all of the shows to choose from in Las Vegas, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this show!!
