We finally found cause to be disappointed by one of our visits here. We had purchased some milk in glass bottles that required a $2/ea deposit. When we returned them we found out that the "deposit" isn't able to be refunded. Rather it is applied as a coupon to a purchase that needs to be made at the same time as the return. As there wasn't anything we had planned on purchasing when we brought them back, we were forced to make a purchase that we didn't need.
We effectively ended up spending money when we expected to get our $4 deposit back. That, combined with employees who should have made more effort to accommodate us, was sadly disappointing.
