| - As you would expect from Mercedes Benz, I had the smoothest car buying experience ever. Arnold Lim was my 'car salesman'; I have a hard time calling him that because he is far from your stereotypical car salesman, not to mention a Mercedes Benz sells itself. I would say he is more of a Mercedes Benz Educator who facilitates and makes the car buying experience as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. You can tell he really enjoys his job, is very knowledgeable and not overbearing or pushy.
A week ago, I never would have thought in my wildest dreams that I would be driving a Benz. I have been car shopping on and off for about 4months, looking for something a bit more economical and fuel efficient. I drove a Jeep that had it's purpose when I got it but I was ready for a change. The only problem is my Jeep is fun to drive...needless to say test driving HYBRID vehicles is BORING! So after test driving vehicles for 10days straight I was about to give-up because nothing was making me excited to buy a car. Since I felt defeated I went to go look at the eye-candy at the Audi and Mercedes Dealership ( in the same lot) and oogle the pretty German cars; I mean who doesn't admire German engineering? And then I met Arnold just as I happened to see the car of my future!
To be honest the stars did happen to align for me. The first owner of my car was the dealership and it was very well taken car of and low in mileage, which put this Mercedes into my price range (less than two of the new hybrids I had driven). Did I mention it can drive in 'eco-mode' to get 28mpg and it has a V6 and a turbo with over 300horsepower if I am feeling frisky! Oh and fully loaded, real leather interior and amazingly engineered acceleration and breaking!! OH and a 5.5YEAR UNLIMITED MILEAGE, yep you heard it UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY!! All of that combined blew all the hybrids from all other brands out of the park! Did I mention it is ridiculously fun to drive and looks sexy as hell? :D
Does it get better? Yes. Jose, who is the Mercedes Benz Finance Guru...if that is not his title it should be, locked me into a loan with an AWESOME rate on a used car. And Arnold, the MAN, got my Jeep traded in for exactly what I wanted. This all transpired in about 2.5hours!!
I should also mention Ingrid at the front desk who was very courteous and the detail department did an amazing job on my new vehicle.
After all the car shopping BS I have gone through in the last few months and in the past I have got to say I may forever be a Mercedes Benz driver and a loyal customer to Mercedes Benz of Chandler! Sexy Benz, UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY, TURBO-ECO engine, luxurious and comfort interior, roadtrip anybody? :)
