Let's make this clear up front. I wanted to LOVE it. I really, really did. We live close by and have always heard LGO is the best neighborhood spot in Arcadia.. so tonight we decided this was the night to try it. Maybe it was an off night? Let's start by saying parking to pick up is a beast. The hubby didn't want to wait in the 8 car deep parking lot line so he parked nearby and hoofed it. Hey, being that busy is a GREAT sign! When he tried to pick up there was confusion about which computer our order was on.. which seemed odd.. but it was found, paid, and he was on his way. We ordered an Avacado Pizza with prosciutto and a Ceaser salad. When I saw the Ceaser I was instantly disappointed in the quality of the romaine and the size of my 8$ salad. There was a thin layer of romaine, most of which had gotten wilted and the orange tint from having been cut and put in the box a while ago. The croutons were soft- not sure if that was intentional but I love crisp croutons and that further disappointed. The pizza was good, nice crust, nice toppings and met expectation- but wasn't so unbelievably good (or such a good value) that I can't wait to go back.

Just a few minutes after posting my review we received a phone call from a manager at LGO. The manager, Kathy, was on the phone apologizing for the less than stellar experience. She explained that she checked the remaining Ceaser salads and trashed them and offered us a replacement. That made a huge impression on my husband and myself- I appreciate they took the time to immediately correct the problem and reach out to us. She went above and beyond to correct the situation which in my book gets them another star. It says a lot about who you are and what you stand for when there is a problem and it is handled in this way. You've earned our future visit!
